eMastered Fair Usage Policy

eMastered's services are designed for normal, reasonable, personal and professional use by artists, producers, and labels. To protect the integrity of the platform and maintain a high-quality experience for all users, this Fair Usage Policy outlines the limits, rules, and enforcement conditions for access to services, including distribution. By using eMastered's services, you are agreeing to be bound by and adhere to this Fair Usage Policy.

What's Included

Your account includes:

• Access to professional-grade music distribution tools for a single artist profile; and
• Distribution of up to 20 new recordings per rolling 30-day period.

For example, if you distribute 10 recordings through your eMastered account on October 1, then distribute 10 recordings on October 15, you may not distribute any more recordings until October 31 (i.e., you have reached the 30-day rolling limit for the period from October 1 to October 30). On October 31, the limit is reset with respect to the October 1 distribution only (i.e., from October 31 through November 14 you may distribute 10 additional new recordings). If you do not distribute any additional recordings, on November 15 the limit will be fully reset.

Submissions beyond such threshold will be automatically blocked. Exceptions may be granted for approved catalog imports, subject to review and approval by eMastered in its sole discretion.

Prohibited Use

The following uses are strictly prohibited. Violation will result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund:

• Distributing any content you do not own or have properly licensed (including stems, samples, beats, covers, or remixes);
• Submitting low-effort or AI-generated spam content;
• Uploading material designed to mislead, impersonate, or falsify another artist's identity, including through the use of fraudulent metadata;
• Creating multiple accounts to bypass usage limits or evade enforcement;
• Engaging in streaming fraud, artificial engagement, bot activity, or another form of DSP manipulation;
• Using automated systems or bots to mass-upload content; and
• Reselling or proxy-distributing content on behalf of third parties without an enterprise agreement.

eMastered retains the right to review, reject, or remove any recording distributed through its services at its sole discretion.

Enforcement Policy

eMastered may enforce this policy in its sole discretion. Violations of this policy may result in:

• Immediate suspension or removal of distribution privileges;
• Takedown of active or pending releases without notice;
• Permanent account termination without refund; and/or
• Possible reporting to DSPs, fraud prevention networks, and legal authorities if necessary.

Legal Responsibility

By using eMastered's distribution services, you:

• Accept full legal responsibility for all content you upload and distribute;
• Warrant that you possess all necessary rights and licenses for the content you release;
• Agree to indemnify and hold harmless eMastered from any claims, takedowns, damages, or disputes arising from your content; and
• Understand that eMastered is not responsible for licensing, content ownership, or third-party copyright claims.

KYC and Identity Verification

eMastered reserves the right to request identity verification at any time, including but not limited to:

• Matching legal name and payment methods;
• Verifying publishing rights or licenses for covers and collaborations; and/or
• Reviewing identification documentation for high-volume or suspicious accounts.

Failure to comply may result in account suspension or denial of distribution access.

Audit Cooperation Clause

By using our services, you agree to fully cooperate with any internal audit or investigation initiated by eMastered or external DSPs, rights organizations, or legal authorities regarding your releases, metadata, or account activity.

Refusal to comply may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal escalation.

Enterprise and High-Volume Plans

If you operate a label, collective, or require higher limits and multi-artist support, contact support@emastered.com to apply for an enterprise-grade plan with higher distribution thresholds, API access, and advanced controls.

Final Statement

eMastered exists to empower real creators — not to be exploited. We provide professional tools for artists who take their careers seriously. If you attempt to abuse our platform, your access will be revoked without warning, without refund, and without exception.
